Bidding farewell to the popeyguy emeritus

Sadly, we must bid farewell to this fine image of the popeyguy emeritus. The drawing you see on the left was done by Carmine Masi -- and it had a terrific run on this blog. It livened up dozens of vicious and blasphemous posts about the horrid man now known as the popeyguy emeritus. Ratzi, we hardly knew ye -- and thank dog for that!

Seriously, isn't this image great? Ratzinger looks so damn guilty. That's the best thing about it. You see guilt and even fear in his eyes. Honestly, it's the best popeyguy image evah!

Thanks, Carmine. I hope an artist does a new popeyguy image for me once the princes of the church have decided which of their sickening lot will get to wear the red shoes. Bring on the conclave! (Speaking of which, I think these "princes" are going to tear each other apart. Holy conclave, my ass.)
