Kinda makes you shudder

Former Vice President Dick Cheney walked without assistance and spoke for an hour and 15 minutes without seeming to tire in his first engagement since getting a new heart three weeks ago.
Brrrrrrrrrrr.

Someone's heart is in Dick Cheney's chest!

I couldn't believe the news. They actually gave Dick Cheney a human heart! Disgusting! It reminds me that I've posted about this before. If only people took my advice. Ugh! A human heart in a monster's chest! It's so immoral.

The despicable Dick Cheney, yet again

I meant to post about this the other day but was waylaid. I saw a story at the Christian Science Monitor about Mr. Personality, the former VP -- "Might Dick Cheney really be tried for war crimes?" The short version is they don't think so. But check this out:
"And the part about other countries acting, if the US doesn’t? For that to have any actual consequence, it would have to involve snatching Dick Cheney off the streets and spiriting him away to, say, the International Criminal Court in the Hague. That’s almost certainly not going to happen.
"The US would protest strenuously – and probably take some kind of action in retaliation – if one of its citizens was subjected to international courts without Washington’s approval."
Can you believe someone wrote those words and wasn't joking? The US -- the country that spirited away dog knows how many men during our illegal wars and threw them in dungeons in foreign countries so they could be extensively tortured -- would "take some kind of action in retaliation" if Dick Cheney was forced to pay for the crimes he freely admits he committed?

Can you imagine how the world would see the US if it retaliated for, uh, justice? But this is our country today: the rule of law is a thing of the past. I can't believe Dick Cheney is allowed to roam free. This astounding judicial oversight will cloud our country's future until it is remedied. Let's hope some country snatches him, and soon.

This is not America

From an AP article today about Cheney's new book:
Cheney, who is promoting his new memoir "In My Time," has been associated with waterboarding, considered by many to be torture. Asked on NBC's "Today" show if he was embracing a double-standard, he said, "These are not American citizens."
Yet even though he cheerfully admits his history of torture, the US does zilch about it and Cheney roams free. This is not America.

What a shame

"VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Benedict XVI has long championed organ transplants, but don't expect an organ donation from him. The Vatican says his body belongs to the whole church."

That is so sad. I was hoping they'd put the popey's blackened, dried-up little pit of a heart into Dick Cheney's foul chest. It was the only suitable transplant I could dream up for the former VP.

But this puts the kibosh on that. Damn! Oh no, wait -- maybe they could give him Condoleeza's heart. She never had any use for it.

Can you tell I've finished editing and have too much time on my hands today? K

Cheney's heart: ugh!

First of all, I don't want to hear anything about what goes on inside Dick Cheney's body. Right there, you've got a disgusting picture on your hands.

But the idea that he's hoping to steal someone else's heart -- a human heart! a living person's heart! -- and put it into his evil body, is sickening. I mean, think about it. Some perfectly nice person is going about his life right now, not knowing that he's about to die and his heart will be put into the body of a monster. It's horrifying.

Just think of the double-tragedy the victim's wife, mother or children will be forced to experience. To know that their loved one is gone and that his heart was used in an unholy surgical procedure that caused it to power the devil himself! Now that is the stuff of tragedy.

I think someone needs to step up and propose a law immediately, stating that living hearts may not be used in Cheney's filthy carcass. Ugh!
